푸가 소월: Only Grail Highball Party
Poster & Tag, Year: 2022, Client: Fugue Sowol‘푸가 소월(Fugue Sowol)’은 서울 남산 자락에 있는 작가 최대원과 조윤제의 아틀리에며 크리에이티브 스페이스입니다. ‘온리 그레일 하이볼 파티’는 각자의 잔을 가져와 하이볼 마시는 파티입니다. 처음 이 파티의 콘셉트에 관하여 들었을 때부터 기획은 확고했습니다. 진정한 각자만의 단 하나뿐인 잔은 ‘신이 주신 두 손’이라고 생각했고, 이것은 ‘잔’이라는 물건이 존재하지 않을 적부터 우리의 몸에 달고 태어나는 태초의 잔이었습니다.. 두 손에 신체의 일부인 다리를 이용하여 스템과 풋을 달아 완성된 잔에 하이볼을 붓고, 손톱 대신 라임 껍질을, 그리고 시원한 푸가 얼음을 띄워 작업을 마무리했습니다. 게스트는 입장권을 대신하여 포스터에 붙어있는 태그를 떼어내 비치된 각자의 잔에 매달아 파티를 즐길 수 있어요. 비치한 여름에 어울리는 향을 태그에 뿌려 여름밤을 더욱 진하게 기억할 수도 있죠.
"Fugue Sowol" is an atelier and creative space at the foot of Namsan in Seoul for the artist Choi Daewon and Cho Yoonjae. The ‘Only Grail Highball Party’ is a highball drinking party by bringing your own glass. Ever since I first heard about the concept of this party, the planning has been solid. I thought the only real cup we had was the ‘two hands from God’, which has been a primordial glass that was worn on our bodies ever since the time when the object ‘glass’ did not exist. Using the legs that are part of our bodies, pouring the highball into the glass, hanging lime peel and putting cool Fugue, I finally made complete glass. Guests can also enjoy the party by attaching the tags from the posters and hanging them in their own glass in exchange for admission tickets. You can also remember summer nights thicker by spraying the tags with a scent that goes well with the summer.
