살다보면 상대와 나를 비교하거나 또는 비교 당하는 때에 놓이기 마련입니다. 만약 나의 알몸을 감싸던 망토 조차 걷어진다면 끝 없이 초라해지죠. 하지만 자신을 사랑하게 된다면 그것은 중요치 않습니다. 내가 두르고 있는 것이 빛나는 비단이든, 남루한 거적이든 혹은 아무것도 없는 알몸이든 앞으로 나아갈 수 있습니다.
짧은 다리의 몽뚱하고 붉은 포니는 2026년을 나아갑니다. 누가 뭐래도 자신에 찬 모습으로 !
In 2026, I find myself closing the chapters of the past while stepping into something new at the same time. This resolution, though long overdue, comes without ornament or flourish. “Let me become someone I can truly admire.”
Life inevitably places us in moments of comparison - comparing ourselves to others, or being compared against them. And if even the cloak that once covered my bare body were stripped away, I would feel endlessly small and exposed. But once you learn to love yourself, none of that really matters. Whether I’m wrapped in shimmering silk, dressed in tattered rags, or standing completely bare, I can still move forward.
A short-legged, stout, crimson pony marches into 2026. Unbothered. Unapologetic. Full of confidence - no matter what anyone says.
